This blog is kinda of a follow up to my previous blog of Why do we need goals in life?.
Every few months I reflect of what I’ve learned and how I can improve myself. What Im about to tell you is a self reflection of a few months maybe even a couple of years put together. I’ve tried to keep it somewhat short and to the point.
So, I think for someone to be successful there is a high probability that they like what they are doing which leads to my first observation.
Do You Love what you do? If so Do It!

The health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it and exempts themselves from it, signed by a President who smokes and also hasn’t read it, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese & financed by a country that’s broke. What could possibly go wrong?

Without goals we are as good as a rock sitting in the desert sun. The path to our destiny is not a straight road with guard rails. There are thousands of high ways, dirt roads, mountains, bla bla. If we go down the wrong road, we get lost and if we dont turn back quick enough, we might end up in a city like the Texas chainsaw massacre.
It doesnt really matter what we goal we embark, but what matters most is that we often forget to clearly define our goals, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Successful people can clearly tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way and who they will be sharing their adventure with. You know why? ’cause they have gone down many paths similar to what their current adventure is before.

Forest gump said life is like a box of chocolates. That’s nice. But I think life is like 4 tires on a car. Each tire represents one aspect of your life. Personal, Family,Social, Work.
Here how it goes. If you drive a car and noticed that one tire is low on air and keep driving eventually that tire will blow and you’re shit out of luck. The same goes with rotation and balacing of tires If you don’t rotate your tires or balance them regularly, they will wear out unevenly.
What I’m trying to say is keep your major aspects of your life balanced and pay equal attention to each of them. Because if you don’t and ignore it it will cause you bigger problems later on.
Assess small problems quickly. Do the “maintenace” work whether is to visit your in-laws or working out to keep in shape or being to work on time.
Cause after all a car with properly maintained tires will take u further, faster and in a straight line.
Same goes with your life
Keep it real and balanced.

I’m currently a AT&T wireless customer with my blacberry bold. I have to say, I love the 3G and all the bells and whistles that the blackberry offers. However, I cant say much about the bill that i pay everymonth. Currently my plan is 450 anytime minutes with 5000 nights and weekend and unlimited mobile to mobile for 39.99 PLUS the data plan for me to surf the web for another 39.99 with tax and fees i’m pay $80.00+ dollars.
I saw a commercial for sprint saying Unlimited EVERYTHING including to phones to other networks for $69.99. I used to be a sprint customer back in the days but I don’t know how much better and worst they have become. I did some research and did some personal reflection on my previous sprint experience and came up with this.
AT&T Wireless Service Compared to Sprint
AT&T isn’t necessarily known for their amazing customer service but most users seems to prefer AT&T to Sprint in this arena. With AT&T you can typically get a hold of a customer service representative in a relatively short time. Their customer service agents can be hit and miss but that’s common across almost any business. If you depend a lot of phone support, AT&T would have the advantage.
Sprint Phone Plans vs. AT&T Wireless Plans
One of Sprint’s strongest advantages over AT&T is cell phone pricing, especially with data plans. Sprint has a strong data network at reasonable prices where AT&T data network can struggle at times and the company is often accused of price gouging on data plans. Sprint has the advantage in terms of plans but you have to take the whole package into consideration. The savings may not outweigh the negatives.
Now please tell me what you think?

So My buddy Andy Armstrong developed a cool API using Firefox’s HTML 5 Geolocation Features and Foursquare API Wrapper. The Application is used to find stuff around your current location. Want to go to a bar, restaurant or maybe even a library! the application will do it for you. I like it cause its extremely simple. and loads quick.
All data is generated from foursquare’s data so if you seach for bar and it returns strip club, blame foursquare not the API.
here is the link to his blog.
Link to demo. Make sure you click on Share Location.
